After a solid night of learning attempts, Kil'Jaeden met his end to the Edge. It's nice to go into a new expansion with everything from the previous one 100% completed and we accomplished that today. The Kil'Jaeden encounter is a very fun one, involving interesting abilities, proper coordination, and some very awesome visuals. I highly recommend anyone who hasn't seen the encounter to go back and do it once WotLK is released.

The Light at the End of the Tunnel
After defeating Kil'Jaeden, the most notable thing that occurred was the spawning of a very big white light.
The other notable thing, of course, was the loot. Congratulations to Tooyoo on his shiny new Apolyon and everyone else on their various caster items.
I've only been with Edge for a little under a year now, but in the time I've spent here the amount of dedication I've observed has been remarkable. For a guild that only shows up for no more than three days a week to raid end-game content, killing Kil'Jaeden is quite an accomplishment. Thank you to everyone in the guild for your effort, helpfulness, and devotion. I'm sure there are many good times to come in the upcoming expansion and look forward to seeing all of you there.

Patch 3.0.2 came out the other day, reviving many of our spirits, and we decided to check out Sunwell Plateau. We made quick work of the first 5 bosses, including killing Mu'ru on our second go. Congratulations to everyone on the Mu'ru kill!

We spent a short while checking out Kil'Jaeden. We lowered him to 75% and learned a good deal about the encounter. I have no doubt that we will make quick work of him on our next raid day.

It has been awhile since the last posting, but our internet adventures have continued gloriously. After clearing our way to the Eredar Twins, we first had to overcome the challenge of learning how to successfully climb onto the ledge and stack our entire raid into a tiny corner. The Eredar Twins encounter is a very well-tuned, non-random, and enjoyable encounter... if you don't mind the 90% probability of having a conflagration, shadowfury, or shadow nova happening at the same on any given attempt and the occasional slip of the ledge.

All-in-all, it's safe to say that this was probably one of our toughest encounters in Sunwell, and we are very happy to have completed it. Congratulations to everyone who sat through the learning process on this one.

In other news...

After missing out on our first Felmyst kill, our guild leader, Victus, returned from his vacation to join us for our first Twin Eredars kill. We all welcomed him back cheerfully.

Throughout our adventures in Sunwell, there is one thing we have come to look forward to every week. That one thing is orb jumping, and few of us have perfected the art of it. If you are a skilled orb jumper and perhaps skilled at playing your class - prospective applicant - you should post an application on our recruitment forums.

We're looking forward to spending some time on Mu'ru over the next few weeks. Stay posted for the kill shot!

As with many of our previous encounters, many deaths and much hilarity was involved with our progression on Felmyst. Many people attempted to call out the direction of Felmyst's breaths, many failed, and many were mind controlled. After a good solid night of attempts, and a lot of commitment from the guild, Felmyst met her end to the Edge. Congratulations to all!

The new website is by no means finished, but I've put the front page up for everyone to see. Expect the forums to match the front page sometime soon when I become un-lazy enough to skin them.

After many nights of raiding the auction house for consumables, farming leather drums, and 0.4% wipes, the great internet monster known as Brutallus was defeated by the Edge. Jubilation and epic loots ensued.
